Zeolites are a group of micro-porous, crystalline minerals with well-defined structures of the alkaline or alkaline-earth metals.
Due to the unique structure of the zeolite molecule and the fact that it is one of the few negatively charged minerals in nature, it acts like a magnet drawing positively charged toxins and heavy metals. Zeolite’s unique complex contains honeycombed structures or cages that allow small molecules between 2 and 10 angstroms to enter. Puriums'staff naturopathic doctor-Dr Mike Wohlfeld, ND says, “[Fulvic Zeolite] works much better mixed into a green drink because greens are rich in magnesium, which is very beneficial to the detoxification process. Or you can take it mixed with water or Apothe-cherry juice. Other ways (i.e. under the tongue) are ok, but not quite as effective. No matter how you take it though, it WILL help with detox.
Hydration is super important so that the toxins get flushed out via the urine- be sure to drink plenty of water. Can you tell me more about the Fulvic Zeolite and its efficacy and its ability to safely remove toxins and heavy metals from the body?
There is 1 % Zeolite in the Fulvic Zeolite; the processing is proprietary. I can tell you it is not acid-precipitated like our competition!
(The high percentage "clean" Zeolites are dangerous, as the lawsuits against our competition attest. Too much Zeolite can scavenge too much of the potassium from the cardiac muscle- causing severe cardiac complications, even death- hence our low percentage of Zeolite.)
By delivering the Zeolite in a humic fulvic base, we hit the toxins and heavy metals with a three point attack:
1. The fulvic acid renders the cell wall more permeable so the humic fulvic and Zeolite can enter the cell easier, in this way the cell can get rid of some toxins on its own, as well as hydrating and allowing better respiration. Also the Fulvic begins chelating the metals and removing them from the cells.
2. The humic acid has thousands of empty negatively charged ion exchange points that load positively charged metals and toxins for removal from the cell and at the same time releasing plant derived minerals to nourish the cell.
3 Finally, the Zeolite traps all of the larger particles of metals and toxins and removes them.
It needs to be noted that the negatively charged plant-derived minerals that the humic
and fulvic carry are too small and of the wrong charge to be caught in the Zeolite- so the
danger of ‘removing too much potassium from the heart’ is nonexistent with our products.
